NALYTH
KELN 01
I combined industrial design, scientific narrative and production code in one digital launch for a fictional precision imaging instrument.
02 — THE PROBLEM
Go beyond showing a device.
Make measurement felt.
Conventional medtech sites place a product on white and split it into feature cards. Here, invisible relationships around the instrument — depth, registration, signal and motion — had to become as visible as the object itself.
The brand and instrument are entirely fictional. No clinical performance claim, real patient data or manufacturer design was used.
03 — APPROACH
Instrument first.
Interface second.
The open half-bridge silhouette and asymmetric imaging head were modelled procedurally in Blender.
A registration spine became the shared axis for composition, movement and technical explanation.
Scientific behaviours became clear controls built on labelled synthetic data.
Desktop, tablet, mobile, low-power and static poster states were validated independently.
04 — INSTRUMENT ARCHITECTURE
Four subsystems.
One datum.
Light, sensor, linear motion and compute became a readable product architecture around a service keel, contact cradle and operator wing.
05 — SCIENTIFIC INTERACTIONS
Data is the material,
not decoration.
The experience includes five working chapters: Depth Field, Registration, Signal/Noise, Scan Path and Internal System. All samples are synthetic; the visualisations make no physical or clinical accuracy claim.
06 — CONFIGURATOR
Few choices.
Clear character.
Three body finishes, two imaging modules and two contact geometries are data-driven. Each choice updates the product language, poster treatment and live 3D material together.
The focused system proves that another instrument can replace KELN 01 without rebuilding the rendering logic.
07 — PRODUCTION PROOF
Visual impact,
measured delivery.

| Live scene | Three.js · GLB · visibility-based pause |
| Geometry | 19,208 indexed triangles · low-power model |
| Interaction | 5 scientific experiences · keyboard and touch |

08 — OUTCOME
Industrial design,
art direction and code in one proof.
NALYTH / KELN 01 is a live portfolio piece showing that I can design the form, behaviour and technical narrative of a product together.
