CASE 06 · FICTIONAL LUXURY JEWELLERY · 2026
VELORREN
Held light
A digital collection experience for a fictional jewellery atelier — one that does not merely display the relationship between a stone's cut and its open setting, but opens it up for examination through light, material and movement.
The brand and the collection are fictional; this is a portfolio demo built for luxury product narrative and real-time web visualisation.
02 — THE PROBLEM
Not compressing jewellery into a fixed catalogue image.
How a stone looks does not depend on its colour alone; the orientation of its surfaces, the openness of the setting and the surrounding light are bound together. So the product page was designed not as a viewer bolted on next to an object photograph, but as a scene that puts that relationship at the centre of the narrative.
03 — APPROACH
Geometry first,
brilliance after.
Six objects and each stone cut were built as original 3D geometry.
Platinum, warm gold and dark material directions became different atmospheres of the same product language.
The light laboratory opened the changing face of one object to comparison across four separate lighting conditions.
The live 3D review loads on request, so the first open stays calm and fast.
05 — PRODUCT LANGUAGE
Stone, setting and light
in one sentence.
Product navigation does not present the six pieces as small cards; it places each object in sequence, like a sentence in the collection. As the selection changes, the photograph, the material information and the product details update together.
On the detail screens the wide product composition, the anatomy of the cut and the material close-up meet in the same hierarchy. This makes the formal decisions visible without weighing the page down with technical detail.
